Frequently asked questions

1. How long will it be before I receive my prescription?
Aetna Rx Home Delivery system will notify you via e-mail when we receive your prescription form from your doctor. From that point you should receive your medicine within 10‐14 days.

2. How do I update my account information?
During your first visit you will be prompted to fill out a Patient Registration form and contact information for you and your dependents. During each return trip this information will be available for you to edit if required.

3. Can I return to this site in the future for to have a prescription that I get filled at a retail pharmacy moved to Aetna Rx Home Delivery?
Yes, you can go directly to www.aetnadelivery.com and type in your password and user name to gain access to the order form.

4. What if the doctor has not faxed my prescription?
If the doctor does not respond within seven days, you will receive an e-mail letting you know that you will need to contact your doctor to request the prescription.

5. How do I use Aetna Rx Home Delivery if I do not want to order online?
  • Step 1: Get a prescription from your doctor for each medicine you take (typically a 90-day supply with three refills).
  • Step 2: Complete and mail an Aetna Rx Home Delivery order & patient registration form along with the new prescription(s) and payment to Aetna Rx Home Delivery.
Order forms are available online. Visit www.aetna.com and log in to Aetna Navigator, your secure member website. Then click "Aetna Pharmacy" from the top of the page. Then click, "Get an Order Form".

6. What type of payment methods can I use online?
The online order form will only be available for those members paying via credit card. Non-credit card orders will need to follow the steps outlined in question 5 above.

7. Can I check the status of my orders on this site?
No. Once we receive a prescription order, we will input it into our system. You can go online to check the status of the order. Visit www.aetna.com and log in to Aetna Navigator, your secure member website. Then click "Aetna Pharmacy" from the top of the page. Then click, "Check your Order Status".

8. Where can I place a refill order?
You can refill your prescription online. Visit www.aetna.com and log in to Aetna Navigator, your secure member website. Then click "Aetna Pharmacy" from the top of the page. Then click, "Refill by Mail".
